Chris Fidler, President and Owner

As President and Owner, Chris Fidler brings over 15 years of engineering and management experience. Prior to launching Primal Energy Systems, Chris led engineering, manufacturing, and quality improvement projects at Lutron Electronics, the world-wide leader in energy-saving lighting controls. While at Lutron, Chris gained extensive experience in the mechanical and electrical design of both lighting controls and solar shading products. Highlights of his career there include directing all engineering projects at an international manufacturing facility and applying Lean Manufacturing principles to re-engineer a $10M manufacturing operation. After Lutron, Chris joined Capital One, a top-ten national bank. At Capital One, Chris developed expertise in the financial valuation methodologies used to evaluate investment projects. He also served as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt consultant and launched and managed one of Capital One's most innovative products in recent years.

Chris has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Virginia. He is a professional business member of the American Solar Energy Society. Chris enjoys hiking and camping, interests he developed as an Eagle Scout.

Jameson Stott, Sales Engineer

Jameson Stott has over 15 years of experience in the energy management and home automation industries. Prior to joining Primal Energy Systems, Jameson led business development for Square D integrated lighting and energy management products in the Northeast market. Jameson also worked for Lutron Electronics Co., Inc., where he served as a Senior Sales/Application Engineer for the Residential Integrated Systems and Window Shading Automated Systems divisions in the Mid-Atlantic, New York metro, and National markets. Jameson has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University and once qualified for the Ironman Triathalon. Jameson continues to provide energy management and home automation services through his company TJS Real Energy and Automation LLC.

Chris Phillips, Installation and Operations Manager

Chris Phillips is a Master Electrician and the owner of CR Phillips Electrical Contractors, Inc. He has over 25 years of experience as a electrician and over 10 years as an insured, licensed Class-A electrical contractor. CR Phillips Electrical contractors holds licenses in electrical, plumbing, gas fitting, and general contracting. Chris Phillips' company has installed the electrical systems in over 2,500 new homes in the central Virginia area for clients such as Ryan Homes, HH Hunt, Finer Homes, and StyleCraft Homes. CR Phillips, Inc. has also served as Home Depot's official electrical installer.
